Hello, I'm Tiffany Martell, and I'm excited to share my journey with you. My passion for affordable education and thrift shopping led me to establish Homeschool Thrift & Co.
My thrifting journey began in childhood, where I developed a knack for finding treasures and saving money at thrift stores—a passion that has stayed with me. Currently, I'm a dedicated homeschooling mom of two. However, my background spans various roles including public school teacher, Sunday school teacher, youth worker and track coach.
My love for education runs deep, as does my enthusiasm for saving money and being resourceful. I vividly recall my early teaching days, scouring countless thrift stores to furnish my first classroom and finding educational gems that sparked excitement.
In 2020, I faced a daunting challenge—being diagnosed with breast cancer while pregnant with my second daughter. Conquering breast cancer strengthened my determination and deepened my empathy.
Driven by these experiences and a passion for educational equity, I founded Homeschool Thrift & Co. This venture aims to provide affordable educational resources to schools, teachers, and homeschooling families. More than just a store, Homeschool Thrift & Co embodies my belief in ensuring every learner has access to quality education.
